Overview: Stock Messaging Application with Google Voice capabilities.
We have rebuilt the stock messaging application and added Google Voice capabilities into it. It supports sending and receiving Google Voice texts within the messaging application. It uses DATA/WIFI to receive and send Google Voice texts, therefore, you don't get charged by your carrier. (Note: You will still be charged if you send a text via your carrier, the only time you won't be charged WHEN YOU SEND/RECEIVE A TEXT VIA GOOGLE VOICE. So as long as you see the message "SENDING VIA GOOGLE VOICE" on your phone, you won't be charged, as the app uses DATA/WIFI plan. Make sure to turn off Google Voice message forwarding as well. This app will grab the GV incoming texts already. If you are receiving Google Voice text from a random number, then you are still being charged by your carrier.)
This app will also show the REAL SENDER NUMBER instead of a random number when you receive a text on your Google Voice account.

Google Voice still needs to be installed on your phone, but you can use just this application for Google Voice and carrier messages.

How does Stock Messaging App with Google Voice work?
We have rebuilt Android Stock Messaging application with Google Voice support. In essence, our application will allow you to receive and send Google Voice and carrier texts within the same application.
Our application will use your data plan or WIFI (when available) for your Google Voice texts. As sending and receiving Google Voice texts will go over your data plan / WIFI, you won't be charged for incoming and outgoing Google Voice texts.
